How to Plan the Last 30 Days Before CEE

Anil Pandey · 17 Sept 2026 · 6 views

A week-by-week plan that prioritises high-weight chapters and full-length practice over passive revision.

Why the last month is different

By this point new material rarely helps. What moves your rank is retrieval practice and fixing the mistakes you keep repeating.

Week-by-week

  • Week 1 — one full-length mock, then a hard review of every wrong answer.
  • Week 2 — target your two weakest subjects using the subject analysis from your result.
  • Week 3 — two full-length mocks, sat at the real exam time of day.
  • Week 4 — light revision, formula sheets, sleep.

Use negative marking properly

With 0.25 deducted per wrong answer, a pure guess across four options is roughly break-even. An educated guess after eliminating one option is worth taking; a blind guess usually is not.

Review beats repetition

Sitting ten mocks and reviewing none is worse than sitting three and reviewing all three carefully.
